Boa Viagem Blurb book project

With the rise of digital formats, photography has become more accessible, but at the same time more disposable. It is now so easy to take thousands of photos and then just store them on a USB stick and then totally forget about them. Memories should be shared and preserved (and we don't mean via social media websites). They deserve something better, something more tangible.

With this in mind we have embarked on a series of photo book projects in an attempt to bring some life to the thousands of photos we have stock-piled on various hard drives.

The first in the series is Boa Viagem: A photographic journey from Sao Paulo to Paraty, Brazil. We decided to use Blurb (the online book making service) to produce the book and have been very happy with the results.

We chose the standard landscape layout with a hardback, image-wrap cover with premium matt-finish paper. Check out some of the pics below to get a better idea of how the book came out.

We've already started on designing our next book which will hopefully be completed before Christmas. Watch this space.
