On the beach information architecture

January 4th, 2009

I was asked by Bostock and Pollitt to assist them with creating the new information architecture for their client: On the Beach.

At the time of writing, this project is still a work in progress, I am working closely alongside the project management and creative teams to create a collaborative IA. So far I have conducted a user experience and competitor analysis, proposed a new content strategy, sitemap and created the initial top-level wireframes.

The Arts Council information architecture

January 4th, 2009

I was asked to assist Preloaded with the development of the new information architecture for a campaign microsite for the Arts Council.

The Arts Council are to launch a new initiative to provide free theatre tickets to young people across the UK at participating venues. The initiative aims to increase the awareness and participation of young people those who don’t usually go to the theatre and hopes to challenge the perceptions amongst young people that the cinema is “not for them”.

I was involved in developing the information architecture in conjunction with the technical and project management teams.

BT Home Phone Services

April 29th, 2008

Overview

BT Project June was an interim project that preceded the BT Voice redesign. The existing website for Home Phone Services needed to be updated to reflect BT’s latest calling plans and special offers. The scope of work for Planning and IA was to review the existing site messaging, information hierarchy and user journeys with the intention of creating an interim solution to integrate with BT’s above the line media activity.
