New Freeview website is live

October 6th, 2008

The new Freeview website is now live and is looking so much better than it was previously. I was part of the team that assisted in the redevelopment of the site and was in charge of developing the Information Architecture for the new site. Hopefully the new visual design and structure will be welcomed with positive feedback!

Jamie Stephen Represents

September 9th, 2008

Jamie Stephen Represents is a London-based photographic and production agency, representing a diverse range photographers, directors, and directors of photography.

The company had already embarked on developing their website with another supplier, but for one reason or another the website hadn’t been completed. I was contacted to perform what essentially was a salvage operation to get the site into shape and online asap. I tweaked the visual design, tightening up elements such as typography, layout and colour pallet. I also drastically simplified the front-end code structure and ensured it was more accessible and easily updatable in the future.

The site has recently gone live and I am in discussions with regards to the next phase of development.

Grand Union Information architecture templates

August 18th, 2008

Whilst working as a freelance Information Architect at Grand Union I was responsible for developing a set of IA templates that will form the basis of a branded IA toolbox for use across every IA project within the agency. The idea was to improve the consistency and quality of the templates and to ensure that each client experiences the same high quality. This involved redeveloping the existing Visio templates and creating new stencil files based on the Yahoo Design Pattern Library.
