Tate Modern
November 19th, 2007Owing to dismal weather and it nearly being dark by 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon, I went over to the Tate Modern to check out what was going on. I was a little reserved about going to a museum, as I haven’t been for years, but was completely bowled over and got really into the whole thing. The building itself is amazing and the exhibitions really interesting, so as a result I am now inspired to go and check out more of the museums in London.
Of course the whole experience was then soured a little by the London Transport system letting me down in the way of my train being cancelled on the way home, resulting in me having to sit in the cold for an hour at Liverpool Street station. Oh well, no surprises there then…
