New Tunes

October 28th, 2007

Been getting into some new CD’s over the past few weeks, got a little list below that I would recommend checking out:

Should keep y’all busy for a bit…

Stop the clocks

October 28th, 2007

The clocks went back last night, and now it is dark at 5pm, now in my books that sucks, and it is only gonna get worse as we get into winter. I can’t wait to get to the beaches of Cotillo and hopefully get some great waves next week, escape the grime and grind of London and trade it all in for a week to chill, eat well and hang out with my mates Simon and Gustavo and hopefully also catch up with my buddies from Extreme!

Cold

October 28th, 2007

So I have had this cold/flu thing for about 2 weeks now, and it is really starting to get on my tits. I couldn’t go surfing this weekend, as I was too ill coughing up all manner of junk. Guess I will have to finally submit and get my butt down to the docs tomorrow morning. Hopefully it will clear before I head off to Fuerte next week, fingers crossed!

Comments are off

October 28th, 2007

Due to some losers who are duplicating the content on my site without asking me first, I have turned comments off, so if you really have anything worthwhile saying about the sh*t I write here then mail me.

New Roisin Murphy Album: Overpowered out now

October 25th, 2007

The new Roisin Murphy album Overpowered is out now, really cool blend of disco, jazz, electronica and smooth vocals, check it out.

Surfing Newquay this weekend

October 24th, 2007

So me and The Deano are hopefully heading off to Newquay to surf this weekend. The charts are predicting a solid 7ft swell @ 12 seconds for Saturday, with the winds coming from the right direction, so hopefully we’ll be getting wet round about Saturday lunchtime. Hoping to take a few snaps and will report back next week on how it goes.

British Airways Surfboard Ban

October 24th, 2007

British Airways have decided to ban the carriage of surfboards on all flights as of the 6th November 2007. This move is absolutely outrageous and means that surfers (including professionals) cannot carry their boards with them when they travel. A Facebook Group: British Airways Surfboard Ban has been set-up and I would urge fellow surfers to join and lobby them. Even if you don’t fly BA, this move will more than likely have a knock-on effect and other airlines will follow suit.

It is like saying to Golfers or cyclists that they can’t take their equipment with them when they travel, absolute bulls*it, unless they change their policy, my last trip to Brazil will be the final time I deal with BA.

Mac OS X Leopard released Oct 26

October 22nd, 2007

Check it out, some amazing new features in OS X, if any Windows users still think XP/Vista
is better than OS X after watching the tour then you are clearly insane.

Weekend

October 22nd, 2007

I had a great time crusing around the streets of Brick Lane, Sptialfields and the East End yesterday. I took a load of pics which you can check out on my flickr account.
