Schoogel
May 4th, 2007Schoogel is a comprehensive search engine for finding schools and universities in specific geographical areas. The purpose of the site is to provide students with a centralised, research resource, for finding the location of their next step in their education.
I developed a custom-built web application that allows visitors to search for schools by discipline and/or country. Search results can be browsed and then schools can be contacted directly. There is also a facility for schools/universities to upload a profile of themselves. Once a profile is created a school can upload a picture, edit the text and set up an email address to receive comments from students.
