McKinlayKidd: See Scotland Differently
May 4th, 2007McKinlay Kidd offer bespoke holidays in Scotland. They conduct a large proportion of their business through the internet. They felt that it was time for their site to been redesigned to give it that extra edge over it’s competitors.
I graphically redesigned the site to bring the interface up-to-date, whilst maintaining the existing branding and content. I added some new functionality to the front end of the site including a new CSS-drop-down menu system, Ajax-powered html forms and show/hide functionality. The site is now more intuitive, responsive and better organised.

I also redeveloped the Content Management System that was built 3 years ago. A lot of new functionality has been added to improve the usability of the application, such as AJAX-powered inline image editing, drag and drop content components, TinyMCE-powered rich text editors and a new media management module.
