Under the weather
February 13th, 2007So it had to happen sooner or later, my 5 year (or whatever it was) run of not being ill has come to an end. For a while there I was thinking I had turned into Bruce Willis out of the flm Unbreakable, but I guess all super heroes get sick in the end (joke).
I am off work today, got some kinda of bug: headache (actually whole body ache), snotty nose, coughing up green stuff and hot and cold sweats, nice!
It is times like these when you realise you take good health for granted sometimes. Maybe I have been pushing it a little too hard lately with work, commuting, out drinking, gym and worrying about a few other things.
Anyway I am armed with various hot paracetamol drinks, cough syrup, green tea and 2 rather thick hoodies. I wanna go to the gym later on but I think maybe I should rest up for another day or so.
Can’t wait to get my arse on a sunny beach, get the Duke/General in the surf and generally soak up the chilled out vibes…
