Knobsville…
October 7th, 2006So this may be a very uninteresting post, but I am gonna mention it as it amused me for about 30 seconds in my hungover state. I googled Knobsville, to see if such a place existed, and yep for sure, those yanks across the pond, more specifically in Pennsylvania decided to name a place using this rather amusing nametag.
More interestingly my ever so cool girlfriend, Elise, just turned me on to some new tunes by a guy called John Mayer, check this guy out(cool website by the way), he’s pretty cool (thanks babe)…
DC offically 21 days time, can’t wait!!!
Ok nothing more to report, apart from feeling knackered after a 10 pint session with Grant, The Chest and Michael last night, JR’s continues to rock the local crowd (not)…
In the grand USA’s defense, here “knob” refers simply to the thing on a door you turn to open and close it… your country has so many synonyms for the male genitalia, it’s inevitable that we’d end up naming a place after it…
Glad you’re enjoying Mayer, I will take it as quite a compliment from the music snob himself that you actually considered my recommendation…
And one last comment, DC isn’t for another 23 days, do the math…
