The highbrow art directors
September 28th, 2006So I have just been munching on my lunch here at Ogilvy and earwigging in on the two art directors that sit in the (open-plan) office next to me. They make me laugh. They are obviously educated, professional dudes, with posh accents to boot and probably great portfolios of work, but the thing is, I can’t see how they ever do much work. They kind of sit there, exchaning ideas about society, technology and stuff, sometimes coming up with a storyboard/sketches now and again. They don’t design anything, just sit there and think.
The current topic of conversation is about Lotus Notes (an incredibly crap email client - both of them agree on this). Anyway point of my posting is that I find them amusing and it think it would be funny to record their discussions and stick it on the web as podcast. Think grumpy old men of BBC fame, they are like that, but less grump, more highbrow commentary kinda thing, passes the day as I code up these very challenging (joke) HTML emails…

‘foot oneself potentially in shooting the’ could all these words form a useful descriptive sentence?
